1978 Thailand official postal stationery card of the 8th Asian Games in scarce variety “Mistake Printing in Garuda designed”, normally this postal stationery was issued in total 10,000 cards in Crown and Post- horn designed, but they have some mistake for use the Garuda design for printing in limit 200 cards, this card also tied with the 8th Asian Games temporary postmark No.4 dated on 10 December 1978, very scarce.(1)
2521 ไปรษณียบัตรที่ระลึกการแข่งขันกีฬาเอเชี่ยนเกมส์ครั้งที่ 8 เป็นแบบพิมพ์ผิดพลาด “ใช้ไปรษณียบัตรผิดแบบมาจัดพิมพ์” โดยปกติทั่วไปแล้ว ไปรษณียบัตรชุดนี้กำหนดจัดพิมพ์จำนวน 10,000 แผ่น โดยใช้ไปรษณียบัตรใช้ทั่วไปในขณะนั้น ซึ่งเป็นไปรษณียบัตรในหลวงชุดที่ 5 ราคา 25 สตางค์ พิมพ์ตราสัญลักษณ์ไปรษณีย์ไทย ตราชฎาและแตรงอน เข้าใจว่าเจ้าหน้าที่ผู้จัดพิมพ์เกิดผิดพลาด ไปนำไปรษณีย์บัตรรุ่นเดิม ซึ่งเป็นภาพปีกครุฑมาจัดพิมพ์ด้วย จำนวนหนึ่งมัด (จำนวน 200 ใบ) เป็นไปรษณียบัตรอีกใบที่หายาก ไม่ค่อยปรากฎให้เห็น น่าสนใจ(1)
